I didn't see much of Tiges vs Pies game last night but have read the wrap up and saw the last 2 mins of game on Fox Footy this morning. Did anyone else have flash backs to Doggies under Plough?
- leading till late in the game and then getting over run
- injury to one of few key talls (Schulz for Tiges)
- some "tackles" that invovled throwing one arm out at opposition
- Wallet saying "shouldnt lose from that position, shouldnt try to save games"
- key backman being a bit undersized (Mark Graham)

I almost felt sorry for Tiges and Wallet. almost. still I suppose we did win a few games during that period!

I didn't. Not one little ioda.

I value my team winning above all, but that was nice.

As I noted to a friend this morning, last night evil triumphed over greater evil :)

I thought elements of the tigers running game was a bit different in that they moved through the corridoor a bit more, however their mid-fielders did tend to run forward of the ball, giving the pies acres of space once they turned it over! Both Tambling and Deledio seemed pretty decent though.

I was barracking for the team "Injuries & Suspensions".

I must say I wish Richo plays for another 20 years as he is good for a laugh.

The thing that amused me most was how Wallace kept working the camera.

Conveniently smiling when he knew it was on him. A couple of times I noticed him looking for the camera out of the side of his eyes while addressing players.

He could be a great coach but I think his ego and self indulgence will be his worst enemies.

Very noticable - what size ego drives this man?

Hear hear. More demonstrative footballers trapped in adolescence. Less well-drilled robots.

Unfortunately it's too early to say there's a Plough feel to the style I reckon.

Gee there'd be a bit of schadenfreude if they start down the undersized KPP and weak defensive track, followed by a failure to cultivate youngsters policy.

Well I'd a have a rueful laugh.

Flashbacks- I did have some on the weekend, however they did not relate to the Richmond vs Collingwood game, rather us vs the Sydney rabble.

Letting a good lead slip;
Lack of intensity at certain stages of the game;
Poor decision making;
Unable to convert possession into points;

Both sides looked fairly ordinary and a tie would have been a fitting result. The Tigers will be the same old - will win when richo fires and will lose when he has a mental breakdown like Friday night. I think Chris Tarrant has taken over from Jade Rawlings as the worst kicking KPP in the league.
