Flying to Melbourne to watch Hawks vs Melb

Just wondering if anybody could give me some advice as to where the best place to sit at the MCG round 8 vs Melbourne. I am a Tassie member and i have my airline tickets booked to watch the Hawks although i am a little confused as to the best viewing points?? I have passess to the family area (M6-M10) although i am not sure whether this is the best place to sit...

I would ideally like to be situated somewhere near the cheer squad with a bit of atmosphere and preferably away from the opposition supporters.

Melbourne supporters by Round 8 will be very excited, so stay out of their way ....... at the shops selling the latest ski gear at greatly inflated prices.

As regards the football a Melbourne fan was recently heard to say "oh bother" until the Rev Neil Daniher heard this and told him to apologise & not use such profane language again.
