New album by Foals due on 10th May 2010, first single Spanish Sahara out there now

Bit of a departure from Antidotes which IMO was one of the albums of 2008 but i still love it, epic song, love the ending.

Any other fans on bigfooty, was lucky enough to see em support bloc party in London and they are killer live Hopefully they get here soon, Splendour perhaps

Absolutely love them. Antidotes reminds me of Bloc Party in the Silent Alarm days, it's just non stop energy from start to end.

I'm not a musician or anything, but every time I hear one of their songs I can't pick whether to air drum, air guitar or air bass. Now THAT'S musicianship!

thrashed antidotes non stop in 2008, great album.

really digging the direction of this single. i remember reading they changed their mind several times about what type of album this is going to be...but yeah, i like this.

hopefully they should come to aus at the end of the year or the start of 2011.

Antidotes was a fantastic album. All really good songs, and sort of a crazier version of Bloc Party's earlier stuff. It'll be interesting to hear the new album and see just how different it is.

Im a big fan, cant wait for the new album
My Splendour theory is that many bands going to Fuji Rock (Vampire Weekend, Them Crooked Vultures, Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, Yeasayers) will be going to splendour
Especially seeing as highly rumoured bands going (hot chip, yeasayers and LCD), although they are rumours, a band close to yeasayers have hinted they are going so ive heard
Foals are going to Fuji, and yes, have a new album coming out
Soo could be a good chance to play at Splendour, jsut some thinking ive been doing
