does anyone know if the foo fighters are going to release an album this year
they have only released a dvd but a new album by them would be wicked they have such great talant lol

The DVD isn't bad. Covers all their albums pretty well. Though it could have done with less repeats. Everlong for instance is on all four parts of the DVD. All My Life is on three.

Easily the most annoying thing is that the longest segment, the Iceland concert, is audio only. Kinda defeats the purpose of releasing it on DVD.

As for a new CD. One by One was only what, 18 months ago? I wouldn't be getting impatient for a new album yet.

They usually have a good spell between albums IIRC.

yeah, dave will be busy with probot over the next few months, although it would be hard 2 do a show... while chris shiflett is busy with jackson or jackson united, whatever they're called... so they will have 2 wrap up their commitments there before they start writing some new material, so it's a while off yet...

give the foos a break,they have been hard at it on the road,touring flat out since the release of one by one.plus daves getting older and things are slowing down.i rekon an album very late 04/early 05.dave has always wanted to do an acustic project so things will come out but not as the foos for a while yet.

plus there is also jackson(chris's band)

I got the Centuries of Sin Ltd 7" Vinyl, Probot Ltd 12" Vinyl and the Probot CD and I can tell you that it that it is unreal. By far some of the best music Dave has done! Rock and Grohl!

On the radio tonight they mentioned that they are working on a new album, it will be the first one recorded in a proper studio, the rest being done in Grohl's basement.

Every time i hear Dave Grohl speak i feel less and less confident about a new album, he is so wrapped up in his heavy metal gig that he is neglecting Foo Fighters. Im hoping they didnt realease the dvd just to tide over the fans for 2004. I hope they bring out an album in the near future, top band. Give up on the heavy stuff Dave, you've had ya fun. Back to some true rock now.

i know, but i'm sure dave isn't just sitting on his arse while it's being released... he will be promoting it for a few weeks...
