Football back at Thebarton Oval

Thebarton Oval will have football back since 1990, after the Western Warriors sought with the council to play there.

They will now play at Thebarton Oval as of next year after Underdale HS kicked them out of their ground.

It ensures the survival of the club which currently plays in Division 7 SA Amateur FL.

Finally, football back where it belongs in one of the best ovals in the western suburbs.

Western Warriors ay? we played them last year...colonel light gardens...and they seemed to field the same team for there Bs as they did for there As, they were good blokes overall though, and i look forward to playing there next year!

Hope they get promotion, then higher standard footy can be played at The Barton again.

Should be interesting considering they've turned the damn thing into a baseball field with pitches and bases and the whole works.

I go to school (Thebarton Senior College) right next door to it so I can keep you updated on any developments if you want.
