Gold (Au) - Chris Judd: Rare, desired and very expensive to buy.

Platinum (Pt) Luke Hodge: Often compared to Gold.

Helium (He) Zac Dawson: Very light element. Doesn't interact with immediate surroundings.

Carbon (C - diamond) Geelong 2007 Grand Final: Very desired form of this element produced under high pressure situations.

Carbon (C - coal) Port Adelaide 2007 Grand Final: This form of Carbon results from a much slower reaction to high pressure situations.

Plutonium (Pu) Terry Wallace: Starts life with a spark, but deteriorates over time, eventually becoming Lead (Pb - see dead weight).

Calcium (Ca) James Hird: Vital to the functionality of team structure. It's absence leaves the host very brittle.

Mercury (Hg) Stuart Dew: Has great capacity to expand. (See also Ashley Sampi.)

Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) Carlton: Something stinks.

Id swap the first two around....Pt is far more rare than Au

Nope, Kangas = Pd.:thumbsu:

Melbourne = H, the lightest element.
Was kind of done in the OP, helium instead of hydrogen but same point I think. who cares I guess it's Friday, I'm getting some piss.

Have a good weekend guys.:thumbsu:
