Draft Information
On the player' stats tables, I would like you to include the year and draft pick that a player was originally taken. I believe this change could be made without significant changes to the existing layout. All you would have to do is addit to the end of the previous club's line. For example: RODAN, DAVID, OAK PARK/CALDER U18, (33/20010) You may have to devise a special notation for players taken in the Rookie Draft and subsequently promoted and you may also have to indicate whether a player was taken before the draft was introduced.
Ed: all the information about when players were drafted is available in AFL 2002, which can be purchased at newsagencies and book stores. I agree that this information would be beneficial and for this year there is not enough room for us to put in the the players stats tables for every player. However, in season 2003, we intend to revisit this table, and expand the information available. Your concept will be part of the mix we consider.

Good idea Chris...the average fan might be interested in knowing whether pick no 1 1989 is playing on pick no1 2002. I'd be intersted in that.

What does everyone think of the new layout. It's impossible to put it in your coat pocket without ripping the outer pages. Very difficult to attach a ball point pen to, for the same reason.
