one per day haha. I'm remembering abstract players from each team and going over the trades so i can get better scores. My best without any cheating is 39. Hoping to get some sub 20 scores.

Rarity update on Footygrid has ben good but still has some confusing ones.

Couple of days ago I got a 2 for Ron Barassi for Carlton and Melbourne who is arguably the most famous Carlton, Melbourne player ever, but feel like it has now gone the other day. Brad Dalziel being a mid fifties rarity seems odd.

I assume the rarity scale comes from submissions as a percentage? Could be very wrong on that.

Griddle seems to use percentages of popularity.

FootyGrid I'm not sure. I tried to do Jason Davenport but he didn't play any games for Geelong.

The most obvious players score between 60 and 90. So if it asks for a player playing between Adelaide and Geelong it's going to be very high with Dangerfield, less with Podsiadly. I can only assume it's the game has been going long enough to draw some percentages. But will this change the abstract guesses in time if every one remembers them and reuses them.
I mean it's not hard to pick a player from every team like Peter Filandia and reuse him but then if everyone uses it would the percentage go up?

I got Lower than expected score with

195cm Justin Longmuir, and with Malthouse but higher than expected with Dougal Howard, and testing with Harris Andrews. Danny Meyer between Port and Richmond would not be well known so it's a real good punt

I’ve only just started on FootyGrid today and did alright. Definitely noticed that similarly to HoopGrids, your best bet for rarity is older players. Even if they are rather famous, they tend to have a lower amount of people picking them than players from recent times.

It was even worse a few days ago, one of the squares was Collingwood/Coleman Medalist and I got 0.10 for Peter McKenna.

Will be real good for those unknown players from your own team. I know a lot of Port players from the 2000s that most people wouldn't even know.

It's been somewhat fixed now, but I'm keen to see which obscure 90s/00s players I can squeeze in. Very keen to use Chris Groom.
