In news that rivals the Pope passing away, former superstar sportsmaniac89 has announced his upcoming return to his ancestral home, the Sin City Swamprats, after a long, sustained absence.

Today, Swamp Media managed to get a brief quote from the superstar himself

Over the last 3-4 years, however long it's been, I have gone away for some hard therapy. I may have had a lobotomy (metaphorically) and have dealt with some incredibly hard times.

My absence was for the best of the club and also the league.

No-one wanted to put up with a perpetually angry c*nt like myself and honestly at the time I disappeared, I was probably angling for a ban given some of the rows I got myself into.

That said, when I was informed of the Swamprats crisis, I didn't immediately say yes, I was too worried about being that angry turd once again.

I think for me, my decision to hopefully return (captain signing me dependent of course) is a chance to turn over a new leaf.
