With articles indicating that Macaffer and now Swanny will play more as forwards, what do you expect to be our 'front 7' or so?

'If opportunities don’t present themselves to Macaffer in the midfield, a return to the forward line beckons.“I’ve had a few brief chats with a few coaches, and even a few senior players about where they see me fitting into the side,” he said. “Over the offseason and preseason I’ve looked at expanding my role and going back forward to where I originally started out. “It’s looking like a forward/mid role, which is something I’m excited about.”

'Collingwood star Dane Swan will spend more time up forward in 2016, coach Nathan Buckley says.
Swan remains one of the Magpies' best clearance players through the midfield, but Buckley said the club needed to have an eye on the future and provide greater opportunities for youngsters such as Taylor Adams, Jordan De Goey, Adam Treloar and James Aish to come in and prosper.
"The fact is the Collingwood midfield in two or three years probably won't have Dane Swan in it," Buckley told AFL Media.

good idea to get the young mids to step up, and it's not like swanny wont be going though
the mid field at some stage. give him a licence to wonder around from wing to deep in the forward line
like he did a bit against geelong last year.

+ Swan
+ Howe
+ Moore 1 pre-season older
+ McCaffer
+ if Elliott finds his mojo again
+ if Broomy finds full fitness and shows us what we all think he's capable of
+ if Travis enters a Renaissance
+ if Fasolo finally comes of age
+ if Blair maintains good form for an entire season rather than just the first handful of games
+ if White pulls his finger out
+ if Gault pleasantly shocks us all

It could be a very different forward line this season :)

Even if not all those names are greatly appreciated players [], that's still ten players to choose from - plus others, Cox, for example, that may add to the competition at some point.

I hope Swan isn't used as a full time forward.

Swan should spend more time in the forward line but only because we've increased our midfield rotation. Should still be one of our main midfielders IMO.

Besides our key forwards....they'll ALL rotate through there now that the interchange is capped even further.
Yeah, I guess they'll be more going through there now. At least 5 or 6, you'd think, so Swan, Pendles, Sidey, Elliott, Broomy and the Caf, for example, with Fas more a specialist forward that can go through the middle if required.
