But you didn't have him as a HFF either. So you either have him on the wing, or you don't even see him in the best 22? I thought he did well enough to be in the team.
I wouldn't mind seeing Morton on a wing or coming off the HBF. I think he has great ball use and could become a dangerous player further up the ground as he would be left alone by the opposition. Similar role to Clinton Young from the Hawks. Plays midfield but flies under the radar and before you know it has picked up 15-20 touches kicked 1-2 goals and has set up a couple more with his delivery into the F50.

Edwards is not a foward, Edwards is a midfielder.

Edwards best games (other then the Essendon one) were all played toward the end of the year when he was given more time in the middle. Edwards dominates VFL in the middle but goes missing up foward when play for Richmond.

That is all.

Btw, Morton DEFINATLY has a place in our best 22. He kicked 35 odd goals in 17 games this year. He is the same age as Deledio. With Brown in the side, if he plays 22 games he should kick at least 40+ goals for the year. Infact I wouldn't be suprised if he wins our goal kicking in 09

No offence RT, but I'm glad you're not a coach at the RFC. It it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Morton isn't particuly fast, he doesn't have a great field kick, he can barley kick 45m, and he doesn't have particuly great fitness. He played off the HBF a couple of times last year but clearly didn't have the fitness. But he does know where and when to lead, and with Richo in the foward line this is vital because he gets his shots on goal but doesn't cut off Richo's leads like Schultz use to.
