I have foxtel sattelite therfore no IQ possible.

Majority of people on satellite these days, only the lucky ones get cable (like me ), but cable doesn't get rolled out any more, so all new areas are satellite. IQ definitely available

What does iQ2 offer that IQ doesnt

HD channels in particular.

Standard Foxtel definition is crap, is actually worse than analogue TV signal. So IQ2 with HD is a worthwhile upgrade IMO.

$300 a year isn't that? I'd rather pay extra and get movie channels or something but each to their own.

As if?! I LOVE being in bed watching Foxtel on my 42" plasma.............yeahhhh I really do have no life, and I am fine with that lol. $25 is great value I reckon.

Cheers for that, thought there would be more to it than just dual record.

I guess you get used to a standard of display.

Worst thing would be to spend a week getting used to HD quality and return back to what I have although how its described has me tempted.
