What happened to the so called "new and improved coverage" of the NBA?

In November we will be getting 3 matches only, with no real star teams involved, what a complete rip.

Cheers

hmm.. so.. on average 3 games per month?

anybody know what the optusvision (espn) coverage is like?
i'm thinking about getting an optus@home connection, and the tv option can come in a package...

Coxy, there is about 10 games on ESPN next month, plus a few college games as well. Generally Wed. and Fri. games (Aust time)I actually like watching the college games more, to see who the next generation of NBA players will be.

ah, just what i was hoping to hear ! college games are a huge bonus!

that could be the clincher for me.... i better check the pricing packages again...

And no game involving the Bulls either

Why should I worry, they only showed us once last season

Optus channel EPSN gives a good coverage.

Kicks off on Wednesday October 31 with 2 live matches.

Philadelphia 76ers v Minnesota Timberwolves and
Portland Trailblazers v Los Angeles Lakers

Livewire,

ESPN has changed the schedule recently. Instead of Philadelphia v Minnesota, they're going to show Washington vs New York. Micheal Jordan's offical first game back!

They're still going to show the Los Angeles vs Portland match-up.

Should be great!

Foxtel's meagre offerings look sick in comparison to Optus and their ESPN affiliate. If it weren't for the Footy Channel and the fact that Foxtel are the NFC carrier (I follow the Cowboys - an NFC team) and the better movies on Showtime I would switch to Optus. There is no comparison when i comes to the NBA - it's a little emabarrassing for Foxtel actually.
