TBF to Evans, he actually looks like a specialist small forward with a genuine eye for goal. Whether that translates to AFL obviously remains to be seen. Not to shit on McEntee, but he's an SANFL standard mid being played as a forward in the AFL, who doesn't seem to have a whole heap of forward craft.

All the best to him. There are spots for small forwards for the taking, especially with Rioli and Orazio likely to have fitness clouds around them for the rest of their careers, so there'll be opportunity if he'll takes them.

I do wonder if he was a plan B for Rioli and we ended up with both.

I can't quite see why our recruiters rated him so highly from those highlights but he did play 5 games this year in the premiership side, so he must have some talent. I'm hoping he follows the trajectory of Lincoln McCarthy
