Would be a superstar, if his body wasn't stuffed at 22.
 
I'm sure the club appreciates his worth and will offer him a decent contract-however no player is indespensible and if it comes to the point that they feel they can not justify meeting the demands of his manager then I'm sure he will go-a-la Peter Moore-you just get on with it.
 
Surely we've got to keep Josh unless we can trade for another ready to play ruckman. There is no way we can go into 2008 with Stretch Richards and Chris Bryan as our top two ruckmen.
 
whilst In understand your sentiment, they did just break even on the weekend with what most people consider the best ruck combination in the competition, or at least one of the best.
 
True, however I can't see them replicating this over 4 weeks let alone 22.
Don't forget how good Josh was in the GF years. Instrumental.
I really hope we use our first pick to get a ruckman.
 
Josh is a gun. Tap work gets criticised and because he gets outmuscled more often than not, however i agree with Lyon and Carey that you rate a ruckman on how well he can find the pill.

Josh is one of the best in this area along with arguably the best ruckman in the league Dean Cox. People seem to be undervaluing his importance not only to the side but his importance in the modern game.

Will re-sign with the club, have no doubt about this whatsoever.
 
he must be resigned i think he just needs assurance as to what he is. mm needs to decide weather he is a ruckman who rests in the forward line or a forward who goes in the ruck when needed. i think he should be a ruck who plays 70% game time in the middle (if his body allows it) about 10-20% forward and rests on the bench. he might not win a heap of tapouts but gets possession and drifts forward to kick the odd goal as a ruckman
 
Still not being re-signed and choosing to opt out of the leadership group really scares me. Don't underrate his work rate and mobility, possesion getting around the ground, he is an invaluable part of the side when fit. I hope it gets worked out.

Fraser has been carrying injury this year and is ultra important to our side ansd structure when fit, I don't know if your talking about his ability as a foward etc. but he hasn't had much if any time foward this year.

Didak, B.Johnson, Clement, Fraser, and H.Shaw of those only Heater has done anything this year........next year get those blokes all firing again like in 06 and look out!
 
He has been thrown forward quite a lot expecially in the 1st half of the year. We dont need fraser going forward, we need him waiting down the guts for a long link option.

If he has not signed yet then something is not right!
