I have just noticed the Herald-Sun article with Frawley talking about making the finals (pre the Freo game obviously). I am surprised he would even bother talking about them. I mean, sure there were mathematical possibilities but after losing 8 in a row and then beating the bottom team, surely finals talk from a coach is a bit over the top.
Perhaps I am being a bit picky.
Also, the word scrappy appears in some match descriptions. I couldn't see the game here - was it scrappy because of the weather or because of Richmond's scrappy game plan? The same article above had Frawley talking about stopping their run early. One day he might talk about Richmond trying to win a game rather than stopping the other team from doing it.
BTW - While I am critical of him I don't think he should be sacked.
