Yep ICQ is the best I have found so far because you don't have to earn points to use it. I've been told you are limited with how many you send a day depending on how many characters you use but I rarely exceed that. I usually only send a couple a day. It's reliable most of the time although I had a bad patch where some weren't getting through.

i think there is a limit for messages per user... (10?)

easy solution... create a few icq user i.d's ~

just leave out network area code
and get rid of 1st number in ur ph number
yay

The only problem I have is with one friend (who is on Telstra Mobilenet like other icq contacts) is that I can't send him an SMS through icq and I can't work out why. Weird.
