I think we should try to coax Nick Reiwoldt into a development role/ fwd line coach
Would be stoked with this. Doubtful though. Better getting Pav as he's already over here and > than Roo.

Tom Morris, time to shine. He’s had a year to overlook all of the departments and now it’s his job to reorganise and restructure the football department. From the outside looking in and listening to the noises Rosich is making, the biggest changes should come from strength and conditioning and skills. Reduce the number of soft tissue injuries to key players and tidy up the disposal and Ross has something to work with to implement his game plan.

Two years

It’s just depressing that we’ll go into next season with the same personnel in the coaching dept as the previous years. However if we can improve our woeful injury record and start getting more games with our best players out there, we can improve on this year for sure.

We can then adjust the coaching team at the end of 2019 for a push into finals in 2020.

Apparently leg injuries will be less, but you will need access to a boat to see them training on the Swan;)

I agree but I have more confidence in Katie Starre just appointed High Performance manager for the woman's team to take charge to reduce injuries.

I highly doubt Webber would allow her to take charge of his area. Plus she’ll be busy enough doing her job from what she was saying when she joined.

Just re-signed with the Cats.

Look the reality is we simply can’t afford to be paying too many of our coaches out, especially our head coach who’s on massive coin apparently. So expect at least another year of the same game plan etc. Just gotta bite down and take the pain.

Who is in charge of our stoppages?

I would really like to see more people moving at a stoppage and more blocking, especially in the forward line.
I think I remember something about Ross taking it over. Can anyone recall that? Would explain why nothing has changed.

For the first 4 to 6 games I suspect that in 2019 we will see the gameplan and structures firmly adhered to with stability in team selection such as the same 22, barring injury, on the field. I think many will be pleasantly surprised. If our performance shows success then change of personnel from week to week will be limited and the team will get better and better.

If we dont go so well in the first six weeks re players being capable in holding down positiions in particular then again changes focused on continued development of the players will probably be teams journey for the year. So choosing assistant coaches surely has to fit into what stage we are at with this progress.

ah yeah, its about time we quit the word rebuild....that was last years draft. At the moment the phase is player development through game time and building up bodies and stamina.
