Fringe Players - Its Time

I'm talking about these blokes -

Motlop
Godfrey
Read (Probably will play if Bruce comes out)
C. Johnson
Miller
Dunn (Young but still not established)
Holland (Useless up forward where he will play today)

If they can stand up today, they have a good shot at getting a good run of games in the seniors, possibly even finals spots. They have the chance, now bloody well use it fellas.

I'm expecting Motlop to play well, he's a good player at the G but then again, aren't they all? Godfrey and Read will be the usual Godfrey and Read, although I'd expect Godders to continue his good run of form as of late. Chris Johnson will provide some good run so he'll match up well I think, might get a tagging role? Dunnyflush will be great, he's been awesome for Sandy so he should do pretty well if they play someone like a Robets-Thompson on him. Can't expect much from Dutchy unless he kicks a bag which is completely and utterly unlikey HOWEVER we are back at the G so we'll see.

But...I predict a riot when Miller takes to the field and sets the team ablaze! I reckon he'll explode during this game.

But yeah you're right YC, this is probably the biggest game for these players because we are reliant on them in these circumstances (Injury issues) and if they can't stand up when we need them the most, well then I suppose they don't have a spot in the team. With teams like Brissie who won their flags, they had quality in their second tier players. It's not to say that these players are completely useless, they do have quality about them, they just need to utilize it effectively and consistently when required. Carn the Dees
