Best player in multiple finals campaigns in the Eade era. Twice club best and fairest. All Australian.
In comparison with what McDud gave to the club (some people still laud him), where this was taken from, easily a champion.

All Australian once doesn't constitute a champion . Very good career, but he's no champion .
Don't think he was our best player in multiple finals campaigns either .

You need tell us who was a better player at our club over the 2008-10 finals campaigns. In the 9 games, he was named in the bests at least 6 times.

This was always in comparison to Mcdud anyway.

Across those finals campaigns Boyd was consistently far better and there were a lot of guys who who were better in individual games who didn't play in all.
Which Bests list are you using because I don't think any respectable list had Griff in our best for 6 unless it was a very long list.

Try the afl lists. Also try the Ching voting on this very forum.

Griff was easily our best player during those years, that's why so many of us rated him, he performed when it counted most. Too bad some others couldn't
