Anyone remember it? 95-6 were the best years , shat all over fast forward imo.Bana's impersonation of Ray Martin in A Current Affair was my fav section , John Howard impersonation was gold as well LoL

I liked Eric Bana's Entertainment Tonight segment ... "Hi i'm John Chin ..."

But for me, nothing beats Fast Forward. Skippy, Good Morning Moscow, Tuckerbag (my personal fav.), Solo Man, The Air Stewards, ********ari Rugs, Rage, the list goes on, and on ...

Fast Forward was original and refreshing. Full Frontal picked up where that left off. I love the Kung Fu skit where Vizard and Moon crack each other up. I remember that Magdan and Marg Downey used to have to sit back to back so they couldn't set each other off on fits of laughter. Michael Veitch and that laugh. Gina Riley's ripping off of songs. The Dodgey Brothers. The Lotto draws. God, Fast Forward was a classic.

The first series of 'Fast Forward' (1989) was classic.

That's when they had the 'rubbery figures' type skits with Bob Hawke as Batman, Paul Keating as Robin and Andrew Peacock as The Joker.

Funny stuff.

And yep, that spoof of 'Kung-Fu' is gold. Vizard cracking up while Moon sits there and calls him 'donkey d***'...

Got tired pretty quickly though.

I loved Eric Bana's impersonation of Ray Martin & those old people who were always in the audience. "Hello Ray!"

Telestubbies were great also.

Late Show > Fast Forward > Full Frontal

Wasn't a huge fan of Full Frontal, with the exception of stuff from Shaun Micallef and Francis Greensleigh - which by the way is available by itself on DVD, also proving Shaun did a fair bit of crap on that show too.

it wasnt perfect, but i was a fan of full frontal in 95 - remember national nightly network news (NNNN)? but my favourite was john howard - "no, no, but kerry".

then it came back in 98 or 99 as Totally Full Frontal as a shadow of its former self

Ahhhh, Erin Bana and Shaun Micallef were great on Full Fontal. They had all the best characters: Ray Martin, Glen Ridge, Fabio, Poida and Eddie ("but then you go for a walk and the thong, goes, AWHOOOOSH") were always the highlights of the show. Something's bugging me though, can anyone remember the Shaun Micallef character that was a really exaggerated ******** take of Bond movies? It had stuff like dodgy auto cue reading, excessive make-up, random forward rolls and really bad fight scenes. Rodney or Roger something maybe?

Milo Kerrigan in his earlier episodes and David McGann were good.

Poita got boring...so did Milo

were Milo and Poita ever in the same skit I wonder...would ahve been funny

Pretty funny at the time but the quality in any one episode was so uneven. Getting a bit dated now, too.
Exactly what I was thinking. Used to love it back in its hayday, but the other day when I was watching some of the re-runs that I hadn't seen in several years it simply wasn't as good as I remembered it.

The Late Show was probably better thinking about it now, but I used to get a kick out of both.

i absolutely loved full frontal... it had a couple of very good years... i disagree with it getting dated though... i saw a couple of episodes on the comedy channel a few months ago, and they were just as funny as i remember them... national nightly network news was always good for a laugh, david mcgahn, poida, milo, fabio, john howard... the list goes on... wouldn't mind seeing them all again...

Managed to pick up The Late Show Champagne Edition double DVD from Kmart today for $29, pretty happy with that. :)
A good DVD is that!

Whatever happened to Jason Stephens though? He wasn't the best of the D-Generation, but all the others are pretty much household names now, while he certainly isn't. Anyone know what he is up to?
