Thorpe ain't gay, you wnana hear somthing aweome... i just turned 18 right.. and i drank a shot that was ON FIRE!!! at first iw as scared, but when the bartended (flipping a huge bottle of vodka arounD) did it again, i was up for the hsot, it was so ********ing good :D i loved it so much it was like ice craem, then he gave me this shot tht was like burning hot licorice, i almost died, but i'm home and safe...

Well that is just fully sick.
 
A couple of observations from the ad:

1) Thorpe is as always looking completely Carson Cressley. He came out the other day saying he wanted to get married and have kids. Who's he kidding?

2) Fully sick jumped the shark a long time ago. Actually it was always a pretty lame saying. The ad shows once again how out of touch the advertising industry is with the younger generation. Kids can pick that stuff from a mile away. Completely transparent.

Very dissappointed with Thorpe on this one.

Really, the guy should be stowed away in a cardboard box and jump out of it every 4 years to swim then have his celebratory dinner an jump back in the following morning.

I don't think you're suspose to take the ad seriously, nor would the younger generation. It's a funny ad, slightly patronising, but funny. :cool:

This is how I interpreted it. Parents see the ad and go "hahaha, yeah they can be real ******ed at times. :p Best I don't listen to them and just buy them a healthy cerial".

Immature little primary school, boof heads say " Man, dat word was so 1998. Funky d00 do0 is what ya say now!"

Mature, clever children say "Gee, they're really patronising our age group. Perhaps we've brought it on ourselves with our fickle attitude and the like. I think I may give the cerial a go".

Everyone else should just laugh at Ian Thorpe's lattest embarrassment, as the ad isn't directed at them. Sadly it seems we have a lot of option 2 people on this thread, going by the replies.

Let me draw you a mental picture:

3 children sitting side by side to eachother, with a spoon in the hand and some cerial infront of them. They stare at their mother as if they're not sure what to do with the food infront of them. So the mum has a chat on the phone with the Thorpedo himself. Thorpe wearing a stupid haircut and a G-string (looking totally metrosexual :rolleyes: ) gives some advise such as saying "tell em it's faaabulous". Long story, short, eventually one of the words work and the kids start eating. Enjoy the mental picture! :p
 
this add is a disgrace all the Little ********s at my school have been Saying fully sick for like a month. And everytime i hear it I cringe and feel like Hitting someone.

Dont You see you stupid impresionable youth your, getting inspired by a stupid arrogant ****, who is trying to be a wog.


I for one am putting A boycott on all Uncle Toby's product OTS the whole lot. And belive Ians should have his Gold Medals stripped for this amazingly stupid.
