Fumbles

There is a ton of pressure in finals, you do see more mistakes than you do in H&A seasons, especially where there is no next week for the losers.

Crows did not get a lot of quality ball in the middle, it put the Crows under pressure all over the ground. Roo and Macca didn't have great games and the team still fought the game out and came within what, 9 points despire inaccurate kicking early in the last quarter.

Being beaten on the day by a team that played better is no disgrace, while it is disappointing when your team loses a final, they gave you a fantastic year. Just think about where you were at this time last year and what the team has achieved. Take the positives out of the game and the year, there is a lot to look forward to, if you grow and improve over another pre-season then 2006 could be a huge year.

Despite his prolific past finals record, it would appear the pressure got to him as well

or sickness, if macca was vomiting on the field you might think something was a little wrong with him. The biggest thing was the class difference between their youngsters and ours, macca didnt cost us.

McLeod had a bad case of the flu, which is why he vomited just after coming back onto the ground after half-time.

Obviously that affected him under the high pressure of today's games.

He wasn't the only one to have the fumbles though. Roo had a pretty bad day in this department as well

Yeh - Macca didnt look right - we never know all the stuff that goes on and how players are fairing on the day. They were a tad cleaner and more efficient overall - that cost us once they got that roll on in the 3rd 1/4.

it didnt in rnd 22, but subi with its extra space often makes the older players look much older. I think that happened today with roo sometimes he looked like he was in slow-mo simply cause of the extra space to run and he cant make it as physical around the pack as he would normally like. We have no 22ish olds in the judd class unfortunately.
