Number 1 in the AFL for disposal efficiency (despite our tough start and taking the foot off the pedal in second halfs)
Number 1 in the AFL for contested marks (Fyfe, Sandi, Zac Clarke and Pav are all in the top 15 in the AFL)
Number 2 in the AFL for least amount of clangers
No midfielder in the AFL has got more possessions at a greater efficiency then Lachie Neale (86%).
Our disposal efficiency is the big one. This is what lost us the grand final. It is what has won the Hawks the last two flats against teams with inferior skills/disposal efficiency. Interestingly Sydney are No 13 for disposal effiency and the worst in the AFL for clangers.
Highly skilled teams like Hawks can beat Lyon´s defences and the Hawks remain our biggest threat in my opinion.
Fantastic that we have recognised this deficiency (and the importance of elite disposal against teams like the Hawks) and rectified it over the pre-season.
