LOTS OF CHANGES COULD BE MADE! But assuming none are (Could throw conca in with talk of him coming)

Centre - Hill, Schloithe(Tagging), Morabito!
Followers - Clarke, Fyfe, Neale

With Michie on Bench, DeBoer could go through, Suban There as well.
Seems bloody good.

Don't get the Conca love. He is pretty middle of the road IMO. Not saying he's a bad player, but yeah, meh. Agreed that our mid stocks look bloody healthy. As good a time as any to do a 'tall draft' for that gun forward and also focus our mad rookie recruiting skillz on picking up some unheralded KPD talent. Get some KPP stock locked away and I'd say our list is on track to be the best I've ever seen it.

It has been mentioned there is a lot of midfield talent in this draft, and not that much KPP talent. Lets hope McCartney gets to our 1st round pick and then we don't draft someone else.

Crowley? How old is he? Also Need a mundy replacement, but otherwise mids and ruck is looking very solid for the future.
Opposition love taking the piss out of Crowley but he is integral to our midfield. Not only does he dominate his opponents he is ok going the other way.

i rekon schloithe could play Crowleys role pretty well.
Maybe nit quite as good defensively but might add a bit more offensively, other option is he could go and play defensive forward with DeBoer taking his role.
Mundy won of the hardest players in the competion to replace as his strength is his disposal is incredible in tight contests and he buys himself time incredibly. Michie the best we got but he's also in part the barlow replacement, so If suban continues to improve he's the one. Great skills and bloody hard at it.

I was thinking Sheridan looked the most likely apprentice to Mundy. Once he puts on 10-15kg he'll be a force in the midfield. Has that Mundy-esque ability to weave through a patch of opposition players and hit a target on the chest at 50m. I've been loving Suban in the last 18 months, he's really developed. Neale is a gun, Sutcliffe is very good.

Agree it's a fallacy. Problem is the Saints had SFA talented youth on their books - give St K Coach Lyon a Jack Stevens and Fyfe and I'm sure they get as many games as they can handle.

Our trouble is going to be do this exercise for GWS and Gold Coast and compare - we need to not only hope this impressive base of kids develops but we are going to need to ensure it gets 25% better over upcoming drafts and this includes filling the KP holes in the list.

Morra coming back would be a bonus. Fundamentally we need to discover a primo midfielder in 3 of the next 5 drafts to have a shot at staying competitive.

I just pray we hold Lloyd, Bond & Co in the midst of all of these other club shake ups....I credit Coach Lyon but the talent identification and balls not to trade like your surname is Goldman Sachs has been a very, very large part of the story.
