ASSISTANT Coach Luke Beveridge has confirmed Grant Birchall didn’t travel with the team to Perth this morning.

Beveridge acknowledged Birchall will miss Saturday night's clash with the Eagles in a media conference from Hawks training at Patersons Stadium this afternoon.
