This thread is for those games that are either too far off to bother with a thread right now, or just for game announcements that aren't as huge as to make a thread at all for.

So yesterday, Hellraid was announced. Coming from Techland, the developer for Dead Island and Dead Island: Riptide. Set to come for PS3, 360 and PC this year, the game is being billed as a co-op hack-n-slasher.

Dead Island and Call of Juarez series developer Techland today announced Hellraid, the game formerly known as Project Hell. Due out in 2013, the first-person hack-and-slash game is coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Hellraid features a single-player campaign and a "unique" cooperative multiplayer component that pits four players against creatures of Hell.

And one that I wanted to talk about for a while but didn't really want to make a thread about it.

CD Projekt RED announced a while back, Cyberpunk 2077. Not set to come out until 2015 for next-gen systems and PC. It had a pretty awesome teaser trailer. The game is set to be much like the Witcher, open world, open ended story, only as alluded to in the name, set in 2077. So there's a heap of potential awesomeness here.

A re-announcement this time of the thought to be cancelled XCOM game from the devs of Bioshock 2.

No longer called XCOM and now called The Bureau: XCOM Declassified. Also going from FPS to TPS and introducing squad tactics. Will be releasing on August 23rd on PS3, 360 and PC.

The Bureau is set in 1962 against the backdrop of the Cold War. Players will take on the role of agent William Carter, an intelligence operative recruited into The Bureau who soon finds himself leading teams against aliens that have invaded the United States. Through Carter, players will see the cover up that takes place, as well as the “secret story” behind the XCOM initiative.

IGN had a chance to talk to creative director Morgan Gray and associate producer Andrew Dutra about The Bureau and how it fits into the XCOM universe.

“At a high level, what we were attempting to do was find a third-person tactical squad-based interpretation of the classic XCOM gameplay tenets,” Gray told IGN. Those include Team, which Gray explained as “no Rambos, no one-man army. It’s me leading my soldiers in battle to success against numerically superior and technologically superior forces.” The Bureau also focuses on tools and tech, allowing players to gain access to additional technology as the fight continues.

New Wolfenstein game from Bethesda of all people (I thought Activision had the license? Did they give it up when Raven failed on the last title?). Set for PS3, 360, PC and next-gen systems and set to release either later this year or early 2014.

Rumoured to be running on the idTech 5 engine (used for RAGE).

Excited to hear that the dev behind it is the one that worked on and founded The Darkness' studio Starbreeze.

Bethesda has officially announced Wolfenstein: The New Order.

The game is pitched as a "reimagining" of the long-running franchise. It is still is an "action-adventure shooter" and will be coming to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and next generation consoles sometime in Q4 2013.

The game is being developed by MachineGames, the studio founded by individuals who had previously worked and helped found Starbreeze Studios, the developer behind The Darkness.

Trailer is all CGI, but they used a damn good song for it! I'm tentatively excited for this one with what we know so far.

Nazi Zombies to Nazi Mechs, okay.

Where the hell did Bethesda get tied up in all this? I still haven't forgiven them for making kids invulnerable in Fallout 3 - some of those brats were damned annoying.

I modded them out and went on a rampage. Watching the limbs fly off all those kids in slo-mo was most satisfying.

I then escorted the one survivor to the slave camp. I like to play the merciful type in RPGs.

The 2nd Techland game in this thread already! This one is Dying Light, an open world, FPS zombie game, featuring melee combat and co-op.

Sounds familiar?? There will be one difference, a free running aspect and day/night plays a big aspect.

This one however, is being published by Warner Bros. and not Deep Silver/Koch Media and coming to current and next-gen consoles in 2014.

If you can't be bothered reading the article, here is it condensed into a new piece.

No trailer as of yet.

How do you stand out in what’s quickly becoming the most populated subgenre in games? Well, Polish developer Techland, known for Call of Juarez and Dead Island, feels that its new entry into the “try not to get killed by zombies” field is inspired by enough beloved works while delivering an equally impressive suite of original ideas to make people pay attention.

Coming in 2014 to both current and next-gen consoles, Dying Light feels like a zombie action game through the lens of DICE’s parkour classic Mirror’s Edge. The pessimist in me assumes that we’ll never see another Mirror’s Edge game from EA, so the prospect of another developer building upon the concept of first-person free-running is certainly exciting. Much like the 2008 cult hit, the initial moments of the Dying Light demo I saw placed an emphasis on building momentum, finding open paths throughout the environment, and trying to reach your destination in as efficient a manner as possible.
