Why are so many players being put behind the ball straight from the first siren? I know we have implemented this rolling zone tactic but WTF has happened to playing that quick moving, one on one football?

If i want to go every week to watch that crap, ill go buy a St Kilda membership (and then quickly burn it).

Seriously though, we are a totally different team from the first 6-8 weeks of the season. Sure we had players out today but so did they. No excuses.

We cant just go out there every week and put numbers behind the ball and then once we get it forward, hoick it in the air and pray for the best. Didn't you only used to put a man back in defense when a forward was getting on top?

Have some faith in our backmen and midfielders Mick. We were a very high scoring team early on this year and its all gone to s***, barely scraping the 100 mark.

Thank Christ for the mid season break! :thumbsu::thumbsu:

+20 inside 50's is about what was happening when we were spanking sides by 10 goals, but the issue is with teams that are defending the kick in from 65m out on the wings and then switching it back through the corridor and we get caught out.

Need Dawes back in to rebalance the side because Leigh Brown won't really draw the ball to him as a target and make the contest.

Otherwise, with the imbalance of our team today and melbourne playing very well the result is enough to give the team plenty of things to concentrate on going into the Swans game. As long as the side is rebalanced with Didak, BJ and Dawes back in things are going along OK.
