garlett already went past betts last year, now pretty much confirming it this year. wouldn't be surprised to see betts in the 2's in the not too distant future.

Blame the umpires all we want and they have slaughtered us, but when you have the amount of passengers we are carrying we aren't going to go anywhere. On top of that you add the shitty disposals no wonder we struggle against decent teams.

Even though we have been murdered by the umpires & a third of the team should be playing nothing higher than VFL we put a strong performance in against the premiers - we refuse to keep it moving & go through the center - coaching failure there ?
And who picks a mouse to be on Cloke ? Need some big guys to run through big guys , that simple.

That's been our story for a long long time, passengers, same people making the same skill errors, yet we have so many thinking they deserve their place in the side.

the Pies are just business as usual. They are the best team. They smashed us all night with their inside 50. You're not ognna beat a team that has it in their forward 50 most of the night.

Our bottom 6 players are no match of their bottom 6.

Betts, Walker, Carrots were terrible, let the team down. Thorton alright but his lackadaisical attitude still hurts.

We need Kruezer and Bower back. Yarran was terrific.

All said and done we have far too many who simply havent RSVP'd tonight...Betts, Hampson, Russel, Gibbs to an extent, Collins a inauspicious start, Walaker not much chop. Can't carry quarter of a team against a team like Collingwood.

If we can get it to three or four goals I will hold out hope.
