I was thinking of creating a party chat for the game tonight. If anyone has a PS4, is watching the game and wants to chat while watching it let me know.

Might not be any takers but it might be an interesting experiment :)


EDIT: I've made a Freo Dockers discord server. For those that don't know, Discord is a free group voice chat platform that can run off your phone, mac, pc whatever.

Sounds like a good idea to experiment with one day - but perhaps maybe on a more accessible platform? I'm not sure if everyone has a PS4 but I assume everyone has a phone / laptop / PC since they're on here.

Only problem I have is I get angry too easily watching our games so not sure if it would suit the "happy-chat" atmosphere.

Like the idea LD. I'm at the game tonight but for an away game I'm happy to have a go.:thumbsu:

I might need to be talked through setting it up. I play on the Sony network but never communicate with anyone( too busy trying to survive Battlefield):drunk:.

Cool. You just need headphones with a mic. You can jack it into the controller. Ideally some snug Bluetooth headphones will allow better drinking and arm wailing.

Send me your psn id and I'll add you some time next week :)

Haha all good. Like the idea of the discord server. The discord app on your phone allows voice chat so that's about as accessible as it gets.

I'll look into it. TBH it might be a total disaster of an idea with a bunch of us tragics having meltdowns but it's a fun experiement.

I'll buy some headphones this week. Is now the time to quit pretending I know what a discord server is? Pretty apt name for some of the trolls that come on occasionally.:D
