Garbage

with all the talk of thier 'best of' album I decided to rumage through my dad's CD collection and find thier first album 'Garbage', and i must say I was impressed, is it worth chasing thier other alums or is this thier best?

S/T is by far the best. Version 2.0 has a couple of decent tunes. Beautiful Garbage is pure shite. Haven't heard the latest one.

i think they're wise to quit now (if thats what's implied by releasing a best of). they haven't had a huge hit for a while. early garbage is brilliant though.

Yeah, they're past it. "I Think I'm Paranoid" is my favourite of theirs.

What you say about best-of's doesn't ring true though - artists like Britney Spears (maybe not her, but very similar teen pop artists) release best-ofs after two studio albums. Seriously.

I saw them live a few years back, they very much live up to their name.
