If I were Melbourne, I'd be playing an extra tall or two to stretch their defence. They will be without Holland, Barker and most likely Thompson as well, so that could give us a real advantage.

He started well. I think he kicked a goal with his first kick for us in the Wiz cup vs Richmond. He's been injured already so he missed a bit of footy.

It would seem we'll use him in a forward pocket as a bit of an impact player. He should get a few crumbs from Neeta, it's up to him to convert.

Thompson wont be playing as he is suspended. As for strectching our defence, all of our tall defenders are playing, plus we have a few smaller types who can play tall so that might be wishfull thinking.

Should be a good game though, cant wait!!

Hawthorn's defence was stretched last year. Graham had to play on The Ox from memory & he fared about as well as Sean Wellman does on Neitz.

No Ox this time round of course & it looks like we'll be going very mobile up forward. Robbo should start there but expect Bruce to be roaming around there too. Whoever plays at CHB for Hawthorn had better bring his track shoes
