he's a dual all aust , one of the best defenders in the game...still early days from big knee, be patient....he'll be firing come the second half of the year and be nice and cherry ripe for the finals ..as will coughlan

I was alaways amazed at how he got to be All Aust x2
We'd be lucky if he played at that standard 6 times a
year now,whereas a Hirdy would put in at least
16 consistently - at least!

It wouldn't be such an issue had he not bent the club over
a barrel when he re-signed thus leaving himself wide
open for ridicule.

This guy has cleaned us out financially and in doing so set
a trend for selfishness and individualism within the club.
For what we've paid him he should have won a frikkin Brownlow
but instead he's denied us the luxury of several other options.

He should be at Coburg if he's still recovering but no.......
Spud has to have him play 1s so that spud doesn't incur
the wrath of the Richmondus Feraltitus.

Although I agree with most points and he is highly overpaid.

When his contract was being negioted he was a great centre half back. Not a great rebounder or attacking defender, however he rarely rarely got beaten in fact there were several years when I cannot remember Gaspar getting beaten by anyone.

Unfortunately like Holland, he signed the big contract and then did his knee and will never be the same.

However as a club if we can begin learning from these mistakes (begin) then hopefully we can start moving forward.
