I half agree with you here. Only because Richmond is only “big” when they’re winning.. I mean you couldn’t even half fill the G last week and a fair chunk of that crowd would’ve been old Fitzroy supporters backing Brisbane.
That being said, I’m not impressed with the fact that the reigning premiers are being shafted to the back of bum**** nowhere for the 3rd year running.. when do we get a stint at Adelaide Oval?

Concept is fine. The way it is marketed is sickening. Things like this need to grow organically year on year because people enjoy the experience of participating on whatever level. Being repeatedly told how good it is by supposedly impartial commentators detracts from the ability of the concept to form its own reputation on merit. Turning off and walking away from matches is pretty easy when you keep getting that nonsense shoved down your throat. The sport I once loved most - cricket - has lost me forever due to the same zero credibility formula repeated too frequently and too many times in total. The AFL is following a very similar path.

That’s correct, and an additional game the interstate sides to travel to Victoria. It’s a win-win situation. How good would it be.
They could even let you bring your own Grog with no limits on how many slabs you can bring in
