Geelong theme song, 2nd verse

Why isn't the second verse of the clubs theme song ever sung at games, when the first verse is sung at least twice.

The only way for it to catch on, is if the supporters start singing it at the ground.

This year the Captain started the players down the path of the full song after Victories but for it really to catch on a with the G public , a new recording might be required in which the full song is played. Id love to hear the Blue and White have the omphh of Richmonds Yellow and Black.

The team did sing the second verse after our win in the finals (vs essendon) this year.
It was funny as most of the players didn't know it and when the cameras went on them they were mumbling the lyrics and looked really embarassed..

They did it for the first time after a game at SS.It seemed as though King,Ricco,Sando,Graham,Harley,Ling and Mooney [I think] were the only ones that new the verse.

I like the 2nd verse better than the 1st.

"we fight with all our might" sounds better and is more provoking than "we play the game as it should be played"

"we are the mighty blue and white" is more visual and emotive than "we are Geelong"

"STAND UP AND FIGHT LIKE HELL" is exactly the mentality our players need to win the flag, rather than reflecting on the fact that "our banners fly high"

Quite frankly, our banners are all over 42 years old, and, we need to get a new one quick !!!

Time for a change I think !!!!!

One thing id say on team songs. Why are they all different lengths and therefore time. I swear when the opposition come on to the ground sometimes it last 5 minutes. It should be a standard 1M etc for all.
