I've seen versions of navy and red so the black in the pic may be an oddity? I like it, vast improvement on their prior one.

Was not covered by Tony Jones on channel 9 , this guy has covered the last 2 weeks in the off season,
Non story after Non Story about his beloved Collingwood pretty clear Eddie everywhere involved behind
the scenes every night national TV news item.

Maybe he went out for dinner with a list manager of a club with no early picks. I can imagine Hawthorn's guy arranging to meet at a fancy pub, "you drive mate, I'll meet you there", then plying him with good beer, then driving off suddenly "sorry, wife's had an accident, gotta go, you right to get home by yourself, aren't you mate? Cops are pretty cool round here, don't mention that you were with me though."

Drink driving is a proud tradition at the family club, no biggie.

How else do you explain a draft prospect tipped to go high even drinking a week out from draft day, let alone being stupid enough to drink and drive?



Let's get Darcy Parish drunk and leave him by his car in the middle of nowhere.

Was catch 22 for them.
They flushed all the evidence of what they injected the players with down the toilet to avoid WADA. Therefore they had to pretend they didn't know or couldn't prove what the players had taken.
Yeah sure its bad to inject your employee's with unknown substances , but hell a 300K fine is better than getting all your players banned.
Lesser of two evils.

They'll get both.

Don't need Essendon to explicitly outline what did and did not happen, BALCO highlighted this when Marion Jones got dicked despite not showing a positive sample and only later admitting that she doped, this was after her ex and fellow doper took to the stand and basically called her a lying bitch in that he saw her dope, under oath.

Essendon, wanting to play it out in the courts as they do, can face similar, WADA have already stated abnormal levels of TB4 on 2 samples from Essendon players during the time, extrapolate out how many have admitted to the same procedures and it's pretty open and shut to screw them in CAS.

Then WADA can go back to not giving a shit about us and tussling with Russia and the Olypmics some more. :thumbsu:

I mean shit, it took years before Armstrong was outed and everyone knew/knows how dirty cycling is at that level.

I like the way that some Dons supporters think that they wouldn't "dare" knock out one of the big clubs.
They just knocked out freakin Russia FFS.
 
Looks like Stanley is still struggling with that foot injury and won't be back in full training until January. I never wish injuries upon any player and hope he gets back as he has shown that if he can get it all together to be a game changer.

But what a bit of trading from us to bring in Hugh Goddard from the picks telnet cats gave us.

Well, he copped a hit to the navicular. Big question mark in my mind when it comes to foot injuries (particularly as it was an impact injury).

Toumpas is now at Port. He was rubbish at Melbourne. He was supposedly covering Montagna when he kicked that winning goal. Here's hoping Port can de-Melbourne-ise him.

I think Oliver would be good addition to them as well as Salem returning from injury. If they can get a game from Trengove, it's a bonus.

The issue isn't that they don't have the talent on the list. They are just not there mentally or application wise. I'd call them the Rhys Stanley of the football teams. One highlight game, lots of talent, athleticism and the rest is meh.
