Pretty sure it is the same as last year, the noble and Bradman are out of action

there wont be too many GA tickets for sale............which is a shame because crowds normally increase the year following a flag.

I have a question & cbf starting a thread on this:

For the Essendon game there are only gold & platinum tickets left.
I want to take a mate to the game, but I sit in GA. If your ticket says a certain Gate, must you enter through that gate?

Also I was informed that they have blocked off the way to get into GA bays from Gold in a recent game - anyone remember this?

I'm thinking of buying a gold ticket and just scanning it via Gate E, or if that's not possible, enter via Gate C and make my way to GA.

IM GOING TO SPAM THIS QUESTION HERE BECAUSE THERE IS MORE TRAFFIC & WE DONT HAVE AN ESSENDON THREAD SO DEAL WITH IT:

Dunno if this helps but last year my brother (who had a gold member ticket and entered thru gate C into the Brewongle) sometimes used to come and sit with us down in the red zone, and he had no probs scanning his ticket into E. I think the logic is if you're scanning into a cheaper area ie red zone, then it isn't a problem.

Has he tried it this year?

I think you do have to enter through the gate on your ticket, but I'm pretty sure that parts of the Trumper stand are Gold, and you have to go through Gate E to get to that stand, so might solve your problem...

Yep - just bought a restricted view gold - and the gate is E so too easy will just get in GA via that.

Hi,
I'm travelling up for the game, should be a good one. I just purchased 2 tickets in person. We're seated in bay 47, bronze i believe (the ticket also says concourse level) and tells me to enter gate E.
Looking at all the seating maps through ticketek and google, no map shows a bay 47.

Does anybody have any idea where abouts these seats will be?
The girl at Ticketek gave me a rough estimate of behind the goals near the new development but she didn't seem overly confident.

Sorry to intrude on your board and Thanks in advance.

You're right it's in the new development area.

Could anyone give an indication of ticket prices for the platinum/gold areas?

Thinking broadcast side up the top (undercover?) would be the best viewing area?

Sorry guys ignore the above. Just realized I could log in and go through the first few steps of the Ess game to work out prices.

But while I'm here it's 40% more expensive for a family compared to the mcg. Guess everyone should leave you guys alone when it comes to cost of living! :p

Distinct lack of facilities though? Where's the nearest food/toilet places?

Temporary facilities are set up for both food/drinks and bathrooms. More of a snack bar than hot foods however and toilets are on trailers. Does the job for now. Tickets are very cheap (handy for a young guy who has to pay for himself and his girlfriend to get to games!)
