Does anyone have any mail on Glenorchy's new coach? Heard from a few magpie mates they are really keen on Mav Weller.
Heard that rumour up the coast but as I understand it he has already signed again with Penguin. He has done a great job at Penguin this year they only lost the grand final by 3 points but had plenty of chances to win it.

So they've gone from an AFL player coming as Captain Coach, to an Ex Glenorchy player/Coach & current VFL coach, to an ex Glenorchy player, Lions junior coach & ex Clarence reserves coach, as Senior coach.

Ok.

I think he was a policeman from memory, he also played a bit with North Hobart didn’t he?

Sounds to me like he wasn't their first choice of coach. Backwards step from Webberley.
The fact they are losing Webberley as a player means it’s a backwards step. Hearing Jackson also going to VFL.
If he was an AFL academy coach his expertise is more then likely with younger players which Clarence have an abundance of good ones.

Jackson would be a big loss. Take him out along with Webberley and Green, that's a lot of experience gone. Will be interesting to see what some of the older heads like Garland, Wall and Bailey end up doing.

If there is no one about, do they go down the path of having someone like Brayden Webb to try and entice players to stay?
