Hey guys; was at the game tonight and although the scoreboard was ugly for the tigers; I can assure you that this hiccup is not going to be a season trend; and finals for the Tiges are still a realistic goal.

1) Cousins. Yes he got injured; and he didn't make much of an impact. However; he still showed signs of his old class. Like Judd of last year; he will take a few games to both learn the style and quirks of his fellow midfielders; as well as to get match fitness. Will get much better after rd 11.

2) Deledio. We all know he's a gun. He seemed very very quiet although getting 21 possessions; but we know that he will be MUCH more damaging normally.

3) N.Brown. Same as Deledio.

4) Richo and Foley. These 2 starred when it mattered; and will have great years

5) Emerging Forward-line. Wow you have some great forwards coming out that the Blues would be envious of. Morton and Riewoldt will be serviceable this year and could be a great pair later on.

6) Fringe players played well... like fringe players. Whereas your Tamblings and Mcmahon's played shite; our Russel's played above themselves. These sort of players are often one-way; and when the team is going well; they look a lot better. If the scores were the other way; Tambling would've looked decent and Russell probably terrible.

Cheers.

Fair play lads.....patronising pity from real teams is all our useless mob are worth.

Don't lose faith, but make your voices heard. Call the radio, and write to your CEO - tell them Wallace is not up to it. As members and supporters nobody should have to put up with what happened last night!

i felt so bad when Cousins did his hammy,

I know how much he meant to the Tiger Supporters, so i hope that he comes back soon and lives up to the hype.

thanks, however it wasnt really the performance so much as the abuse i copped all night from the carlton cheer squad, oh how dare i support my team near them! i stood up to cheer an early goal from morton and was told to sit down and shut up. i continued to cheer what little we had to cheer about and was again told to shutup. i told em to mind there own business but a mistake that was, every goal i was told twice about. i have never had a worse experience at the footy, and i witnessed the demolition at the hands of geelong in 07.

but yeah we were terrible.

Your always going to get ********s at the footy, best thing to do is just ignore them cos once they realise they will get a reaction from you, they will not stop untill they leave. The worst ones are collingwood supporters

Thought Morton was a standout. Very solid forward. :thumbsu:
thanks buddy but we know he was proberly our best player out there.

tigers need to kick those set shots. that will kill us this year as we are making a push towards finals we have to kick all possible goals.

1 Tambling was in our best three players last night. He has improved every year.
2 We only have one Tambling and one McMahon.

Fair comment about Tambling; though I don't think he was in your top 3 (clearly it was Richo, Morton and Foley); he did play solidly. What I meant was fringe players are often the biggest front-runners. They're made to look a lot better then they are when their team is dominating. Best example of this is some of Geelong's players. (Varcoe, Lonergan etc.)

So when your team is doing better; you can expect your fringe players to look a lot better then they did tonight.

Obviously there is only a small chance of beating Geelong next week; but WB are a realistic goal of beating.

I wouldn't worry about the abuse. Any grown adult who is a member of an AFL cheer squad (including my own team) is a r****d who has in all likelyhood has never had any intimate contact with another human being.

While you copped abuse be happy in the knowledge that your IQ is probably higher than combined IQ of half an AFL cheersquad, even if you do support Richmond ;)
