I don't know if you read Poulter's short write up of the match in the Hun today but he mainly concentrated on North's lack of marking power in the forward line as costing them the game referring to LAC (Life after Carey). I understood what he was on about but was amused to see that 7 of North's goals came from marks while Geelong only kicked 1 from a mark! I think if he concentrated on our lack of crumbers he may have been closer to the mark. LAW (Life after Winnie?).

:)

have to agree there as i thought we had vastly improved this week in our marking game from the previous week against the doggies.

simmos mark alone made up for the previous week,

our crumbers on the other hand were well tagged and kept us from clearing the ball properly

Well I did force myself to watch the replay yesterday and the answer to your question shinners would be 1 from a contested mark (Rocca). I did understand that, but it was interesting how statistics can be deceptive when used to counter an argument. Someone should tell Dan!
