Well as the title suggest who do people this year think are going to be the Players that burn you in the Supercoach?? Last year was Nicoski that cost me a fair bit and i kept waiting for him to show something but did SFA all year and there has been others, and i was wondering on what others think may be the ones to stay away from? Barring Injury off course as you cant label a player for burning you if he has bad luck due to injury, just form wise.

For me it is Matty Lloyd, i have nothing against him at all and he has been a great player but i think he is overpriced at (518,000) and he is getting older and i think his scores will decline this year. Just my opinion though. :)

Intersting to hear others thoughts and Opinions. ;)

Apologies if there is a Similar thread but i couldnt find one and it is a good alternative to the who should i pick threads etc ;)

Totally agree there!! So Hot and Cold etc but he has so much Upside regarding High scoring games.

Man oh man what a total spud!

I had this guy as my second ruck for half of last season, cut my losses and downgraded him and took Kruezer off the bench to be my second ruck for the rest of the year and he did 10 times better than this pathetic leppa!

Stay away from this stooge at all costs! :D

Always used to get Beau Waters thinking he would eventually live up to his massive supecoach potential until he completely screwed me over last year.
Hopefully people stay away from him this year despite his relatively cheap price.
 
Brock McLean has burnt me 2 years straight and i have sworn not to go near him again.We all get blinded by the fact he gets a ton of the ball when he is fit and playing but the problem is he cant string together enough games without consistantly getting injured
David Mundy is another that has been talked up a lot around this time of the year for the last couple of years but fails to deliver good scores as well

Was ment to be the next big thing down at the roos talked up in the media as a possible rising star, so i took him 07 and 08 cant play agaisnt real men and gets worried to easily and makes stupid choice with this year being the first i dont pick him its sure to be his year
 
Alby Proud.... just when I needed to stop bleeding 0's in the backline this bloke was "BOG" in the seconds

Aaron Edwards I thought he was in for a massive year, he posted some tame scores then went and broke his leg

Dal Santo probably a bit harsh but I thought for his price tag and what he delivered last year it wasn't nearly good enough.

I tried Des Headland last year based on the fact that he was going to have a good year.

I've learned my lesson - don't pick lazy waste of space players.

If he gets injured that is no fault of his own. He constantly scores well for his price
 
will minson - will have spurts and then get continuous 40's
paddy ryder- see will minson
heath shaw - if he gets tagged he does nothing with the ball plus his off field indiscretions

I agree that he scores well too.

I remember one of the guys having him in our league last year and was suprised at how well mclean was doing for him. The dam bugger scored 122 points against me too! :D

Which is precisely why he will burn you.Whether his injuries are his fault or not he has proven to be a far too risky proposition for any fantasy comp simply because he cant stay on the park.The boy can play though but i will never pick him again based on the fact he is too injury prone
 
Another player I got burnt with last year was Johncock.

I brought Stiffy in as a premium back towards the end of last year just when he started scoring like a dud. Then he got dropped with rumours of him smoking or something......I won't be touchin the stiffmeister this year.
 
As crows fan i hate say this but last year it was Mcleod he scored -2 in a game with no injury i would have rathered he didn't play :mad:

but this year im worried about grimes & raines because im still not sure they are gonna play every week

had a pretty good 07 picked him up 08 and he never realy scored well and constantly let me down :mad: Also a very angry one
