Ghost Recon Breakpoint

I've never played a ghost recon game before. I've watched the trailer for this but I'm not sold on the game yet. I mean outside of that lame intro where he says something like "if you mess with me and brothers, I will destroy you and your world", its hard to find unbiased information on it. I've watched interviews with the leading developers and they say all sorts of things about how the game is going to be so groundbreaking and this and that, but that's basically what the Fallout 76 team said look how that turned out. What the devs say is meaningless; they will say anything to sell a game.

So does anyone here have experience with the ****ing ghost recon games and want to chime in about this upcoming title?

Can't say I've played much of Ghost Recon since the original in 2001. I saw the trailer a couple of weeks ago and wasn't overly inspired by it, hopefully it's open world like Wildlands

Wildlands was good fun, this looks kind of tedious leaning towards a survival game too much with injury management and food etc

I'm cool with the extra stuff. Wildlands was fun co-op but it was pretty brain numbing solo. I thought the alternate endings was a nice touch too.

Wildlands would have been good, but was just too bloated. I don't know how anyone could finish it.

It might have been doable if there was a sense of progression, but the enemies felt the same even if they were regional/sub-regional/supra-regional bosses.

I did Wildlands 100%. It was as you had expected... I really wanted to throw in the towel somewhere around halfway but it felt like a waste of time already spent and I'm a bit OCD with open world games

I liked Wildlands as a multiplayer game, we have heaps of fun with it.

looking forward to this version of Ghost Recon!
