I've noticed that recently the footy is looking nowhere near as good as it should on my TV, and it's because of a ghosting/blurring/trailing the follows the players around the screen. I've never had this happen before on my old TV (A 42" Soniq something) or on my current TV (specs at the end) until just recently.
I've called Foxtel a number of times and they just get me to do the usual un-plug/re-plug everything, switch off/on, system reset stuff, but it's all been useless. I've also tried swapping HDMI cables, HDMI ports, etc, but it hasn't helped. I've got a tech coming out in about 10 days or so, but it's driving me nuts, so I thought someone on BF is likely to know something!
Is it likely to be a Foxtel issue or a TV issue? I'm thinking Foxtel, because I know that when I first got the TV it wasn't doing this. My box (IQ2 HD) is dodgy, because the recordings never work properly and it takes an age to turn back on after a reset, so I'll be having that replaced, but I doubt that would be the problem? I've read somewhere else that it could be to do with a poor satellite setup on the roof? Either way I'm really not sure; audio is my area of expertise, not visual.

Happening on all channels where anything moves fast enough. Especially annoying when trying to watch footy in HD. Colours are sharp as, but this ghost-trail is ruining it.
