Has anyone ever seen a ghost?

I haven't but I know people who have or to put it more accurately believe they have.

So any sightings?

I've never seen one, but I've had plenty of friends who report seeing them. I'm a little skeptical about it...seeing is believing...so if I see one, then I'll believe in them. Not that I wanna see a ghost!!

Dont' think I've ever seen a ghost. Mind you, how would I recognise wone if I did? Maybe I see them every day but don't know they're ghosts.

(or maybe I dhouldn't go online at 3am after a night on the piss. Although if I didn't see one tonight, and I don't recall doing so, when would I?)

Ghost no, UFO maybe.

I had kept this true story secret.

I was a kid in the 80s when Halley's Comet passed Earth.

The scene

Outside on a still cloudless night, the whole family is there looking at one of the most pathetic 'events' of my life.

Obviously I had been outside to look at the Comet before, I just wanted confirmation that I was looking in the right direction.

Anyway as the family is going back inside, I turn 90 degrees and stared at the full moon, when seconds later a large shilouete (sp?) silently passed between me and the moon.

No flashing lights, no noise, and all over in less than three seconds.

And no it wasn't a plane.

Must have been something almost the size of a Jet at that cruising altitude, or something much larger further out.

I just stood there, wanting to yell out but unable to say anything, completely in awe.

Later that night the family watched the movie JAWS on TV.

A young Player didn't get much sleep that night.

Ive never seen a ghost, but I was on HMAS Perth on a calm eerie morning where we said a service for all of the sailors and airmen that lost their lives in the Sundra Strait.

Anchored over what is fondly known as metal bottomed sound I swear there were hundreds of spirits in our presence as we all stood solemnly on the quarter deck at sunrise.

Can do better than that, I have a photo of one.

Our family have a photo of my grandfathers WW1 regiment and in the corner is a ghostly apperition. My grandfather said its a guy who was killed earlier and 'came back' for the photo. Its pretty freaky.
