In the next few weeks we lay it all on the line against opponents with mature midfield units. Young cotcha has began to run up and down on the one spot in last fortnight, no harm in spelling him for a week or two to freshen up and bring into the side a little more experience, may even be Coggs. Cats, Hawks, Crows have big bodies in the pivot...If coggs has found some touch, he could seriously help us:thumbsu:

I'd rather see us rest him in the forward line. If anything he would take a good defending to keep him in touch. Gee he is going to be good.... and I mean really good, maybe the best midfielder this club has seen.

I`m still LMAO @ a post i read on one of the main boards a couple of days ago ...

"Gary Ablett jnr.... the new Trent Cotchin"

Unheard of Bo ... go the Deledio way and play him the forward line if his "tank is empty"

he is kid ...kids are resiliant

I see what you mean, he looks like he has been struggling a little the past couple of weeks. But agree with nut, I'd rather we just rest him somewhere. Despite the fact he's only a first year player, he's almost so classy already that we need him out there.

Gee whizz pal ...LMAO

Just what Cogs needs after two knee-recos and more than two years on the side lines :thumbsu:

Bring him back and chuck him straight onto Jimmy Bartel ... just ease him back in quietly hey ?:p

Cog's will have an impact as soon as he gets on the park.

It wont take long to remember how good he is. Might just be the extra boost we need in the run home.

I wouldn't play Coughlan until the pre-season to avoid any more injuries and so he gets back into the game.

I think this thread is pointless because he will not get dropped and anyone who thinks he does (without prejudice) is an idiot. You learn more by playing the best, not resting them (you learn more by losing not winning).

He is so freaking good I haven't seen a player move through traffic the way he does he seems to weave with every step I sat near the bench last night and just to watch him get the ball and move with it is a religiouse experience. The way he gathers weaves and hits targets is top class

Im not sure what his game time is but he does get rested a bit during games. The club must know how fortunate we are to have a player of his talent I cant imagine them over playing him

Yeah let's hide him from the best teams....that'll fast track his development....:o
If you think that the best thing for mark Coghlan after being out of senior footy for more than two years ... after 2-3 games at Coburg ... is to slot him in against the cats ? .... :thumbsu: ... more power to you.

Tell me what you think is the best way to handle Mark Coghlan ?

I was referring to the OP & Cotchin.....hence my use of the word "development" and not "rehabilitation"...:thumbsu:
