What's the go with the club charging us $55 just to watch the game there. We spend 800-900 for a membership and they want us to pay $55 each away game to watch the footy there.

I feel for those who want to watch it there with a family

I'm with you. Can't we just go to the main viewing area at the Glasshouse where they have multiple screens and watch it there. I'm not interested in a meal at 8:30pm. Just so long as the bar is open so I can have a drink, I'm happy. I'll still patronise the club coffers by drinking at the bar, so don't see the need for the club to offer a food package for people to watch the game at the theatre.

Judging by the pictures I've seen, the theatre would seat about 40 at most, so charging those prices isn't that silly, it's not for the average fan.

I would prefer if the club just put it on the big screen outside, let the fans hang around on the oval, that would be pretty good for interstate games, sort of like our own little federation square setup.

It would sit more I was in there in the intraclub game! The price is ridiculous plus they only sell Carlton draft and cascade light beer. I could understand if you were not a member but you can't get in there unless you are a member. To charge an extra 55 is shit form.

Id prefer to rub my balls in the privacy of my own house (im assuming for that price a midget will rub your balls during the game?)
Subject to availability, ie Blair playing.

So said burgers would have to include caviar, truffles or something? Kobe Beef? Chicken stuffed with King Island Crayfish? Vegie burger made by Nigella?

There should always be care about members only areas. If members feel they are being harshly stung then it prompts I'll feeling.
Ofcourse clubs can always run special functions but care should always be taken. Your members are your rock solid gold, treat them that way.

Probably not great for the oval if they did that though.

Given how much Ed preaches over the ridiculous pricing of food at the footy on the Hot Breakfast, this pricing structure seems to fly in the face of that.
You listen to hot breakfast?
That dirty grubby one is on isn't he? What's his name the Richmond supporter.
If he's on, turned straight off. Mick Molloy I think. Never once ever been funny.
