hehehe glen manton, i dont think helll make vfl maybee he should try be a goal keeper again. he was my pe teacher in grade 3 intrestingly enough
 
That's great - I hope he does well at it. Seems to like trying his hand at different things.

I think he made a big career despite being pretty slim and not that tall for the roles he was asked to take on, and wish him well.
 
I'd love to see the bullants give him a crack. I think he could easily still play a negating role as a third tall backman. He's been training for bobsled the last few years and he's looked in shape every time I've seen him. Never hurts to have a character like Manton about, even if he's only playing VFL reserves.
 
Has about as much chance of playing VFL as he has of making it as a stand up comic.... f*** all. Possibly the least funny man in Australia. Why is he always trying so hard to make gags??.... on SEN the other day he served no purpose but to make a fool of himself.
 
manton will definitely be playing VFL next year, i heard this over a month ago. He is much stronger these days than he ever was at Carlton. This has much to do with the strength training he did in anticipation of Salt Lake City Olympics. Whether he plays for the Bullants is another question. Those who doubt he will come back as a top up player should reconsider how poor some of the players are in the VFL... seriously!

I don't know what sort of nick he's in at the moment but I doubt he'd decide to pull on a guernsey if he wasn't in a good way. Best of luck to him if he does, I bet he'd still be a great asset in many ways

hope he dose after all the training he's been doing
he'd easily get a game in the Country since players do play well into their 40's especally clubs who struggle to get players hope bolt goes to the Bullants if he didn't think he could play he wouldn't have said :)
i met him at the family day a few years ago and he's a nice Chap ;)
he dose a good job with his Charity .
 
It would be great if he played for the Bullants. He was a player who always put in 110% and he would be great for the youngens to be playin with him.
