I really hope they get the job done. Would hate for it to come down to the last round, against Norwood down the Parade to make the finals.

Named in the SANFL side. I assume Gnewg either okayed him playing against them, or didn't have any say in it.
SANFL clubs would normally say yes so it doesn't interfere with the players development. If they did say no, and the player was available to return a few years later, the player may decide to go somewhere else because of that.

THREE CLUBS, ONE SPOT

5th. Port, 14 pts
(47.1%)
Matches: a, Glenelg (2nd); a, Norwood (6th).

6th. Norwood, 12 pts (52.5%)
Matches: a, North (8th); h, Port (5th)

7th. W.W.T., 12 pts (42%)
Matches: a, South (9th); h, North (8th).

I'm OOTL here, why does Glenelg get a say if we play him? Is it some sort of quirk with the SANFL/MSD?
We have to seek permission from the oppo club to play SANFL players taken in the MSD vs their old clubs.

Ramm has actually become a point of difference in the SANFL.

A traditional CHB who you build a game around.

I’m happy to back Port in here while he’s growing his game.

Norwood only just beat westies and we're currently in good form. In a perfect world, id like north to beat norwood and we pull something out tomorrow then its a dead rubber next week. I'm certainly not counting it out.

I hope I am wrong and y’all are right.

With the current shit house state of the club fully expect us to lose the next two.

Gives the club a chance to say it was "a successful year" at the INVITE ONLY b&f and give the squad the designated break period and pivots the club in its cost and resources to the aflw

Be nice to win the next couple and you know feel some stirrings of what is that feeling again....pride in that magnificent jumper.
