Was hinted at on Fox League Teams last night that Glenn Manton missed the 'pub crawl' that the Carlton players had after training on Tuesday.

Barnes and Sheahan were only half right.

Manton was at the stop over at the Liars Club on Tuesday (where all the players were asked to tell a joke) but apparently he was the only player not told about it.

It took one of the players to let him know at the last minute.

Can't believe Denis hasn't given him a go but has given Mick his 300th - it's a disgrace

If we are to be sentimental, then Mants deserves one last hurrah. Has been pretty good in the VFL and Mick Martyn is finished. Not worried if we don't play him but he is more a Carlton player than Martyn is.

The future is elsewhere and these blokes get paid mucho dollars to run around a paddock and must take the bad with the good.

Simply put, Glenn deserves a 'last hurrah' for what he did for Carlton. He's done far more positive things than Martyn ever will at this club IMO. I've also noticed Glenn's absense on The Footy Show... he's usually a regular on the panel. This might indicate that he's hurting. No surprise when someone who hasn't done squat for Carlton takes your place. If Manton doesn't get a farewell game, I'll be spewing. He deserves it.
