we only need to win another 100 or so games to square the overall ledger.

the usual last quarter capitulation happened on saturday and much to my surprise and delight it was my boys giving it and not receiving it. :D

obviously your lot has some work to do in certain areas and some players have to extract the digit (fevola & mckernon) but all my mates made comment on what a player mckay is, he towelled hamill and if not for him things could have been a lot worse for your mob. i doubt whether ratten, campo and lappin will be beaten like that again this year and when you add lard arse lance you blokes will bounce back pretty quickly.

if any of you were near the saints social club in the last 1/4 when hamill was lining up, you would of heard a maniacal yell of 'stick it up em hamill, stick it right up em', it was yours truly. ;)

look forward to repeating the dose in round 16 for a famous double, until then good luck. :D

there is no shame in having your arse kicked by the games elite, just ask brett ratten. ;)

speaking of overpaid, i hope that your administrators have got mckernon on a performance based contract, because if his game on saturday is any indication he will be owing the club money by the end of the year. :p

One performance does not a season make. Although I guess for St Kilda that has never been true. One good performance per season is about it.:D :p

lol, haven't you heard that things are different at moorabbin this year, new attitude, best pre season ever, blah blah blah, i'll believe it when i see it.

i am looking forward to our good performance for the year though, saturday was a regulation 4 points for us. ;)

gloating can be fun

;) well dont know if you saw the paragraph in the heraldsun today, yes mckernan was king of the clangers for the weekend,

most mistakes of any player to take the field. unlike a certain kangaroos player namely mark porter who held his own all day over the field..

Porter made the right choice so did the roos.

Hamill left Carlton for both the wrong and right reason, but like veryone didnt know that already! 1 win from the saints against the Blues in like, what was it, 10 years!!!! So i wouldnt b gloating too much! you know wot its like with Carlton ,play us at the start of the year and we "usually" beat them by twice as much the next time round
STL: u said things are different at moorabbin, what was it...maybe they trained this pre-season!!! So now are all the saints fan gonna come out because of one win! its amazing how that happens!
As for Corey, it was his 2nd game, give him a break...not making excuses for him but it does take time to adjust to a new team as people would've seen with Aaron, since being at saint kilda his stats arent too flashy as they were with Carlton, he wasnt playing like he use to!
STL: just remember last year, you started off with a win and ended up 2nd last now if i was a saints supporter i wouldnt be gloating as u have been. U know the saying what goes around comes around! As you put Lance as "Lard" how come he is ne of the best and if im not mistaken, he is one of the players for leading marks...now if sumone was so lardy as u put it why is Lance as good as he is!!!! Before bagging our players, have a look at your own team!

coreys adjustment

well mckernan was a great north player ill give him that but after he lost his form it was a long wait for him to settle back in and find some.......it never happened.:p

well im not one to hold a grudge as i still follow all the old rooboys, so good luck to corey and hope he finds form soon

Er....Porter didn't have a choice. Anyway, I wish Mark Porter all the best, he is a good player and you can't help but admire the way he plays the game.

However, I watched the Port v Kangas game and I don't get what all the bragging is about. Sure, he didn't play a bad game, but he wasn't THAT good. It wasn't a patch on his best performance, which would probably be the Carlton v Collingwood mothers day game last year. I think you should wait a bit to see how both players go before you go on about how great the trade has been for North. I was not expecting a vintage performance from McKernan on Saturday, he just isn't the sort of player who would find touch very quickly. We will have to wait and see.....

Luke, STL was only having a good natured dig. He wasn't trying to be a pain in the arse.
You're new here, but you'll learn soon enough that the real pains in the arse are the uncouth, uncultured Collingwood fans who post $hit in here, just to be smart. Or any of the others for that matter who are so pleased Carlton lost, they can't help themselves having a little troll!
Never mind, Luke, it's called Carlton envy, we have lived with it all our lives haven't we?:D

Anyway, welcome aboard! The more Carlton fans the better:)

You see what I mean Luke? Rohan is a very good example. Although he has a propensity to think he is better than the average Collingwood supporter, in fact he thinks he is better than anyone. Ignore him!
